Many people often asked what epoxy flooring costs? Unfortunately, there's no easy answer as projects are often not alike but we’ve been doing this for an extended time so we will offer some explanation in this article.

In order to work out epoxy floor costs and budgets, consider the following:

What is on the ground now, any coating? Bare concrete? Tile, adhesive, carpet, sealer, etc? If the ground isn't bare, unsealed concrete, then surface prep must be done, as any coating can only stick with what's thereunder . Primer could also be needed. Sealed floors got to be ground or otherwise mechanically prepared in order that they are ‘open’ and can accept a coating which will stick. Sealers are repellents and intrinsically , must be addressed .

What is the ground getting used for? What quite traffic will it see (foot, forklift, trucks, cars, etc)

The rule of thumb is that the more decorative the ground is that the more an epoxy floor will cost. 

The thicker the ground is that the more it'll cost (going from a ten mil thickness to a 20 mil thickness will double the quantity of materials required). The faster you would like it to dry the more it'll cost.
